Luanne
Have any of you read any of her other books? She wrote The Moffats, (we already discussed Ginger Pye), The Alley, Miranda the Great, Rufus M., and The Tunnel of Hugsy Goode. If you did, what did you think about them? angela in ohio
We have read the Moffats series as well as Ginger and Pinky Pye. My girls adore them.
Harriet Vane
We enjoyed the Moffats a great deal at our house. I was extremely impressed with The Hundred Dresses. My kids--my ds in particular--were also quite affected by it.
nmoira
We love Eleanor Estes, and haven't been disappointed by a single book of hers yet.
FriedClams
I (as did the kids) loved the 100 Dresses. I haven't read the others - but they are on the list and I am expecting they will be just as great!
fiddledeedee
I read all of her books as a kid, but just loved The Witch Family, I read that one several times, very cute book. I found a used copy and snatched it up! My daughter enjoyed it as well.
AngieW in Texas
We loved The Hundred Dresses and The Moffats. We thought Ginger Pye was boring and so were the other Moffat books. Miranda the Great made my youngest cry. She was very unhappy with the ending and had bad dreams about it for several nights. She can be very emotional about things like this though. She was 7yo at the time.

We are going to go to the Seattle Children’s theater in about a month or so to see 100 dresses... can’t wait!
