nukeswife
He's looking at the new playmobil catalog and said "Mommy here's one for you" and pointed to a micro world farm. He said "You can get that for your birthday mommy" I told him "that's ok mommy doesn't need any toys" to which he said, "You need some fun stuff mommy, all your stuff is for school" I guess that means I need to take some time out and "play" a bit more. How sweet of him to be thinking of you in that way. Kids can be so precious.
DarlaS
"You need some fun stuff mommy, all your stuff is for school" He sounds like a real sweetie! He's right too. He might have an ulterior motive (probably figures mommy will share ) but moms do need to do fun stuff too.
Guest janainaz
So so cute! I love that age so much. I was in the tub one morning and my 4 year old little boy asked me if I wanted any bath toys and proceeded to dump a bucket of super-heroes and monsters in the tub. Of course this is the same 4 year old that plugged our toilet with hot wheel cars. I told him he'd have to answer the door when the plumber arrived and that the plumber would not be very happy. He hid in the bedroom and peeked around the corner the entire time the plumber was here - even after I told him I was just joking. Last week I took him to get ice cream and asked him what kind he wanted and he said, "Chocolate. No spoon, just licks." Why do they have to grow up???!!! Stacia
So sweet! (Are you going to treat yourself to a new Playmobil set? You could let him play with you!) Last year, because I played some of the Webkinz games on my son's account, he thought I needed (or really wanted) my own Webkinz. He made my dh take him to the store & he picked out one for me (but made papa pay), lol. So, now I have my own Webkinz. Before ds went to bed last night, he put my Webkinz on my pillow. Sometimes it's good for moms to have their own toys. :001_smile:

I probably should make sure it's not dead or something.
Nestof3
I think I need the Egyptian Playmobil. My boys are getting more into Legos now, but I keep trying to tell them how great that Egyptian stuff is. LOL
