Recommended Posts

I need some help with the abbreviations used here. I feel like I should be able to figure them all out, but I get confused. Would you mind helping me with them? I am getting ready to start my 3 yo dd in the fall on preK stuff (she's EXTREMELY bright) and am investigating my curriculum choices for the first couple of years now ... so any help you could give me would be great!

Thanks bunches.

The abbreviations I need now are ...

If there are any others that are used a lot ... it would be great to know!

Thanks again and God bless.

I don't know all of them:

HWOT - Handwriting without Tears

OPGTR - Ordinary Parents Guide to teaching Reading

MoH - Mystery of History

WP - Winters Promise

At the top of the main page there's a link to a listing of abbreviations that should help with others.

Sometimes LL is Lightning Literature, too. I didn't realize there were so many LLs out there!
That's what I was going to say! :)

There are also:

R&S--Rod & Staff

LoF--Life of Fred Math

WS--Write Shop or Writing Strands

TT--Teaching Textbooks

AO--Alpha Omega
