momof4boys
Does it duplicate SWI A or is the Ancient History suitable to just use as a supplement to a history curriculum?
MIch elle
IEW Ancient HBWL teaches all 9 units of IEW. I don't thinkg SWI A teaches all the units. Have you looked at the samples?
momof4boys
It doesn't teach all of the units, but am I duplicating the ones it does?
AngieW in Texas
It will reteach several of the units that you've already learned through SWI-A, but it will teach them in a different manner with different source texts. My kids did SWI-B, but they have still gotten a LOT out of US HBWL. SWI-B only went up to unit 4/6. US HBWL volume 1 does units 1-6. I think volume 2 does units 4-9. I don't remember the units for sure. My dd who is working through US HBWL volume 1 right now has gotten a lot out of the program even though she's been using IEW methodology for 3 years already. momof4boys
Thank you for the input, IEW will not be at our local conference and I can't get my hands on it to see it, so this is such a help!
