Latin for 6th and 7th?

If your children are really solid with Latin, then they could just proceed to Henle, going slowly through the first couple of units. That way, when it gets harder in the latter part of the book, they will have more time to dig into those units better. They could even see Henle's 4th book someday!

Another thought is that you can use any program, just subbing the classical pronunciation out with the other. The dead Romans won't tell. ;)

My front runner is Latin Alive by Classical Academic Press. But I haven't used it yet so I can't comment on it. The reviews are somewhat mixed. Some people have mentioned errors being an issue.

I wasn't trying to add to your confusion. I actually went to look at First Forms to see if they had samples because I thought my son might like it better. Then I noticed the statement on the page about LCII and thought I should mention it :001_smile:

Another fan of Latin Prep. I'm not sure if you might be able to go straight into Latin Prep 2 if you've finished LC2. Having finished you'd be ahead in declensions so some of that would be review. The only thing that you would have missed would have been the mixed conjugation from what I can tell.
