Anyone familiar with the following cities?

Recommended Posts

We go to Flagstaff every winter to play in the snow! I can recommend the following:

La Quinta Inn on Beulah Blvd. (excellent breakfast!)

Comfort Inn on Beulah Blvd. (across the main road)

Fairfield Inn on S. Milton Rd.

All of these have interior hallways, which is important to me. They all have free breakfast. They're near the university and Hwy. 40 and lots of restaurants, stores, etc. They're far enough from the train tracks that you don't hear the trains. Of the three, the Fairfield is the "fanciest", but also the most expensive. The Comfort Inn is more worn and old looking, but clean and safe, and a good value. The La Quinta is almost as nice as the Fairfield, and has the best free breakfast (make your own Belgian waffles!).

Hope this helps.

Greetings. I see you're on the roll again. ;) I helped out a few months ago when you passed through Columbus, OH.

Love the scripture....it was part of my bible study this past year.

I need info on decent places to stay. Cheap is good, clean and safe are great. I don't know what areas of these places to avoid. Any help is appreciated!

Beaver, Utah isn't big enough to have a bad neighborhood. It has two freeway offramps and a few motels by the side of the road. Anything should be fine. If you have time, follow the signs to the creamery and buy some yummy ice cream there.

Lincoln, NE is a pretty nice city, especially considering its size. I don't know the city extremely well, but I have seen a few nice hotels while shopping. On N. 27th St. north of US Highway 6, there are a numbers of hotel/motels located in a shopping district with tons of restaurants. You may start there. Lincoln really doesn't seem to have many "bad" areas.
