mo2
I think I've decided on Lively Latin after we finish Song School Latin, but I can't decide which version to purchase. Obviously, the pdf is much cheaper. But I worry about things like what if someday I can't afford internet access or my computer crashes and I can't get it fixed? (Hubby's employment has been affected by the economy, and I worry about money a lot more these days.) I generally only purchase books that are nonconsumable so I can reuse them with my younger children when the time comes, even if that means having to make copies or have dd copy problems out of the book onto paper. Would it be practical to purchase the pdf and then go ahead and print the entire thing and place it in a binder? Or has anyone found it worth the extra $$ to purchase the hard copy (which also comes with the CDs, so one can print out the pages that the student needs to write on). Just curious which version you all have found to be more practical.
mazakaal
Well, I got the download so that I wouldn't have to pay for international shipping or wait for it to be brought over. I've had no problems with the download. I printed about half the book (lessons only, no answers) and then when we needed it I printed the other half. But if you're worried about computer crashing, etc, you could go for the cd. How much more is the cd than the download?
Jen500
You could just get the download, and back the files up on a cd.
