hard boiled eggs...how long

This report says a week.

the USDA agrees (and I find them to usually errror on the side of caution) as long as they have not been out of the fridge for more than 2 hours.

Do you think that one week guidelines stand if they were at room temperature for about 8 hours after the initial boiling? :confused: *sigh* Probably not...

 

ETA: the article answered my question too! :D no more than 2 hours at room temperature.
