Hen
maybe someone can find me a quote from the 5th HP movie, Order of Phoenix, I am hoping it was in the book..we only own the last book, so I cannot look it up. At the end of the movie, Harry is talking to Luna, her shoes were hung up over an arch and he asks if he can help her get them...she says something like, "I've learned, (or maybe it was, "Mum always said,") that the things you lose always find a way back to you." can someone find me the exact quote? I was listening from the other room, and that just really touched me. thanks, all knowing hive!
secular_mom
Harry Potter: How come you're not at the feast? Luna Lovegood: I've lost all my possessions. Apparently people have been hiding them. Harry Potter: That's awful! Luna Lovegood: Oh, it's all good fun. But as this is the last night, I really do need them back. Harry Potter: Do you want any help finding them? Luna Lovegood: I'm sorry about your godfather, Harry. [clasps his hand comfortingly] Harry Potter: Are you sure you don't want any help looking? Luna Lovegood: That's all right. Anyway, my mum always said things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end. [they look up and see a pair of her shoes hanging from the ceiling arch] Luna Lovegood: If not always in the way we expect. I got this from http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0373889/quotes
Mekanamom
From the book: "Are you sure you don't want me to help you look for your stuff?" he said. "Oh no," said Luna. "No, I think I'll just go down and have some pudding and wait for it all to turn up. . . .It always does in the end. . . .Well, have a nice holiday, Harry." "Yeah . . . yeah, you too." She walked away from him, and as he watched her go, he found that the terrible weight in his stomach seemed to have lessened slightly. (This comes directly after the two of them discuss life after death and loved ones waiting on "the other side of the veil" so to speak.)
