momof165
Teaching Company has a huge sale going on for the next 5 days. They have some wonderful courses I might be interested in. Especially some of their ancient history, as well as arts/music courses. My ds is 9, going on to be 10 in October. We will be studying Ancients for 4th Grade. Is he too young to enjoy and watch some of these? Any input, ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch! Starr
They always have something on sale. :) They are always a great temptation. lol My son enjoyed some of the science lectures when he was 11. You might want to look at the highschool programs. I have seen favorable reviews for them here on the boards.
Ann@thebeach
Just a quick note to check your library for these. I was going to buy some then someone mentioned the library-they had about 10! Saved me a ton of money and I was glad to watch one since it was still a little beyond what my 10 yr old was ready for. Might be worth a check ;)

Matryoshka
We just got their course on the History of Jazz out of the library on CD, and my 10 and 8 yos really enjoyed it (we listened in the car).
Stephanie/MO
...listens to the American History ones over lunch. They are understandable enough even for a 5th grader. Blessings, Stephanie
Maria/ME
Our dd is 11. We all enjoy listening to the audio. We've done some Shakespeare and some Mozart. Loved it all! Thanks for the heads up on the sale!
