Pajama Mama
My dd had a girlfriend sleep over Thursday night. I took them on Friday afternoon to see the Hannah Montana movie. It was really crowded for 1:30 in the afternoon. I know the kids were on spring break but sheesh it was packed. It was a cute movie. Hannah/Miley acted like a brat in a few scenes. It was cheesy. But the girls had a great time. The movie was almost 2 hours long. The girls had to go to the bathroom but waited until it was over. Did anyone else go to see it? OnTheBrink
Not enough money in the world. LOL, same here. I can't stand her voice and my dd can't stand her, either. However, I'm glad your girls had a good time! :)
HRAAB
Personally, I'm sick and tired of Hannah Montana plus a slew of others out there. Fortunately, my girls have gotten tired of Hannah Montana plus we rarely ever go to a movie. Not saying we might not rent it, but if they don't think of it, I'm not getting it. 3littlekeets
We've got a girls date with friends this weekend. My parents weren't too fond of things I liked either, luckily, the never banned them :tongue_smilie:. My girl wants to see HM, we shall go! Journey
Okay so I'm 47 years old and I actually want to see it! It's a good thing I have girls. I can't stand the girl, I really can't and I can't explain why I want to go to the movie but I do! I know it'll be cheesy.
Jennifer in MI
Journey - I want to see it too! I don't have a dd to take - mine is still only 3. She knows who Hannah is, but I don't think she'd sit through the movie! My boys actually like the show, but don't tell anyone! I'm just really happy that there's a show that's rated G!!! I just hope that Miley keeps her head on straight!
emmsmama
It was totally cheesy and I found some of the acting not the best, but it was clean and appropriate for the age group and there were actually a lot of parts that were lol funny. I can't remember what part it was, but there was one part where I bust out really loud laughing, so loud I was actually embarrassed
Pajama Mama
I can't remember what part it was, but there was one part where I bust out really loud laughing, so loud I was actually embarrassed  I think the only parts I laughed at were of HM's brother. He was trying to act cool hanging out of a parked car and fell out. The other funny parts were more corny than funny. Dd and her friend had a blast. That's what was most important

I personally loved the "Climb" song-the message is great. (She just sang it last night on American Idol) :D I also loved when she was with her daddy singing to him in that run-down building. I think it's a place to say you don't have to be in the fast lane-you can move to your own beat and still be OK; but making that decision is hard and can be confusing, but forgiveness (Lily) and humor is necessary to make the journey. My daughter & my friend and her daughter all liked it.

cassiemc
My daughter and I went yesterday. We both enjoyed it. I think the movie had a nice moral and was funny. Much better than I expected.
