Capt_Uhura
Has anyone used Singapore Science My Pals are Here, grades 3-6, or Interactive for grades 7-8? Capt_Uhura
calandalsmom
Im using MPH at 5th grade level. Its quite easy and there are a few mistakes iirc. I like it overall because Im using it with a 5th and 3rd grader. Its cute, but Im not crazy about it.
Jen500
I have the 5th and 6th grade MPH books. I really wanted to like them--I really like Singapore Math and I want secular resources. As I paged through the 5th grade books, I realized my boys have already covered most of the topics, through their public school classes, snap circuits, library books, science videos, etc. So we tried grade 6....we just couldn't get into it. Too little information spread out over too many pages for our taste. I'm interested in Science for Inquiring Minds also.
Capt_Uhura
Jen3boys....that was kind of my thought. The Interactive Science textbook looks good but then the activity book looks like a big jump.
