Cricket
We spent half of the day outside yesterday at the park. Last night our 10 yo ds had a rash from his ankles/sockline to mid-thigh. It's red, flat, and spotty. He also had some around his elbows. It's a little itchy. I gave him some Benedryl before bed. Now this morning it's spread to his feet and all the way up his legs. Around the sockline where it was spotty is now solid red. Could this be a reaction to the sun? He isn't fair-skinned and has never had a problem in the sun before. I don't see any bug bites or anything.
Jean in Newcastle
Could he have gotten into some vegetation he was allergic to - like poison ivy? You might need a Dr. visit for this one - esp. if it keeps spreading.
Tree House Academy
Could....could also be allergic to the grass. This is exactly what grass does to me.
