Rhondabee
The weather is too cloudy and cold for any outside activities, and the new WTM isn't out, so I figure I might as well clean during our week off. But, boy, I need some motivation! So...does anyone know of (or have) a "Spring Cleaning" list? For some reason, I can do what other people tell me to do, though I get bogged down in trying to plan it out for myself - ;). I'm sure my DH will be especially thankful for any help you guys can give!!! Thanks! Rhonda
Tutor
I don't know of a specific schedule to recommend, but I would highly suggest cleaning your favorite relaxing place first. I have found it extremely helpful to the rest of my cleaning if I have a place to escape to at the end of a cleaning day that is comfy and reminds me of what I am trying to achieve in the rest of the house. It also serves as a nice reward at the end of the day to just curl up and read or watch a movie where I can be completely relaxed and not reminded of all the work that still remains. Rhonda I do my Spring Cleaning all through the year using FlyLady's technique but I can recommend the book Spring Cleaning by Jeff Campbell and the Clean Team. You can probably pick this up at your local library.

Rhondabee
Thanks! I'm off to clean my bedroom (and the mess that is my "desk"!) first. Then, off to the library. I didn't find the "Spring Cleaning" book, but several others look interesting. Thanks for lifting my spirits this morning!
Rhondabee
Thanks! I'll think I'll adapt this for the week. I feel so embarrassed about my house! Before I started hs'ing, I worked from home, and somehow, in spite of having a wierd, erratic schedule, I still managed to have an organized, clean home. I had a very similar schedule - at first glance, I thought maybe you had been peeking at my old list - LOL! Unfortunately, adding a baby and then adding homeschooling to the mix ruined my routines, and even now, 3 1/2-years later, I still feel so hectic and disorganized! Maybe this will help me remember how I used to manage it....(maybe?).
