Guest
http://www.textbookleague.org/sptexas1.htm The author claims Prentice Hall's science Explorer series is full of errors and fake science. What do ya'll think?
kalanamak
The language used is designed to rile people up. A real issue doesn't need inflammatory language to get people riled up.
mcconnellboys
Well, there is an issue with errors, as with most textbooks. I would feel comfortable using biology and earth science, because I think I could spot the errors there. I'm not sure I'd feel as comfortable with chemistry and physics topics. I think the "fake science" accusations take things a bit far....
Rhondabee
This came up fairly often on the old board. Ria and others who are much more well equipped to answer science questions than I never blinked an eye at these accusations, and considered them pure rubbish.
