ummof3
Just wondering if anyone still uses Tanglewood Curriculum. I'm interested in their science but don't know (yet) how much it costs. :001_smile:
Ann@thebeach
You are aware that the program is no longer active right? They just leave the reading lists on-line but that's it, there's no support or anything for sale. Many do like the programs they suggest and just buy the bks elsewhere. Hathersage
Well, I believe they still sell the following Corebook, Nature Notebook and their Book of Centuries. Everything else you can buy from Amazon. And she's left up her learning to read phonics rules http://www.tanglewoodeducation.com/ReallyReading2.pdf
ummof3
Hi yes I knew that there was no further activity going on but the site still advertises their own curriculum as well as 'create your own' but i've been back and can see now that they state books can be bought from Amazon. I do like the look of their corebook. Does anyone use it?
Targhee
I don't know for certain what their activity is, but in the last three years there has been more added to the site - the reading lists in particular. I have their core book (PDF) - if you want a scheduling/planning devise and are following CM this could be quite useful. I've been interested in their nature notebook (PDF) - is that what you mean by their science? I go to their site for book lists and reading schedules and such, but don't follow it per se.
