ereks mom
(Millstone coffee) but they no longer carry any flavored coffees at all. :( Is there any place online I can order whole bean decaf hazelnut coffee (not necessarily Millstone; any brand will do as long as it tastes good) for around $5 to $7 per pound? LaxMom
You bet! I get organic, fair trade coffee for under $7 a lb at Coffee Bean Direct. Their shipping and customer service are great, as is the coffee. :001_smile: (BTW, the link is directly to their decaf flavored page)
ereks mom
The $5 per pound coffee would actually cost me about $8 per pound -- and I can get it for the same or cheaper at Kroger. I just have to buy the small bags. I'm disappointed. Maybe Sam's will start carrying the decaf hazelnut again. Or maybe I can find a place online that sells good coffee with free shipping. LaxMom
Oh. Bummer. I forgot about the shipping. We order in 25lb bags. Sam's is so bizarre. We have a local coffee company that Sam's used to carry a good variety from - then it dwindled to, well, some sort of flavored decaf, I think. I wonder what that's about? Amazon has various brands / sizes that are eligible for Prime (or supersaver) shipping. (Is it weird that I seem to have developed a personal interest in you getting the coffee you want? :D)
ereks mom
(Is it weird that I seem to have developed a personal interest in you getting the coffee you want? :D) :D Nah -- not weird at all. I appreciate it! I had looked at Amazon, and I saw some of the kind I want -- from Coffee Bean Direct, even, but cheaper & with lower shipping costs. I'll probably go ahead and order some. I just want to order a 5 lb. bag, even though Coffee Bean Direct offers free shipping (I think) for 25 lb. bags. We only have 3 coffee drinkers here, so I'm sure a 25 lb. bag wouldn't stay fresh long enough for us to use it up.
