DB in NJ
He's at: college level in reading comprehension (yeah him!!) college level in sentence structure -- or whatever they called it (yeah him!!) college level in essay writing (ah-mazing and surprising to me. yeah him!!) And he needs to take "developmental" (i.e. remedial) math :glare: Oh well, we weren't surprised a bit, and he's actually looking forward to the opportunity to *finally* understand algebra! Poor kid...I feel like I failed him in this area, but I truly did everything I could think of at the time. In hindsight, I would've gotten him a tutor or something. Overall, we're very happy though :D

Overall, we're very happy though :D Your son did exactly the same as mine. I wasn't surprised either. In hindsight I wish we did lots less outside sport things...more guitar lessons and had a math tutor for him. Oh, beautiful hindsight!!! I didn't need those for dd's...they tested into college level everything...surprised the HECK out of me!! Anyway...congrats to you and ds...good job Momma! ~~Faithe
Nan in Mass
On the way to the test, my son asked me if this wasn't where we found out if homeschooling worked or not. Obviously, it isn't really, but I know that feeling of relief GRIN. Congratulations.
