dcjlkplus3
This was mentioned a few times in the pirate thread. Is this a book, a show, a character, or what? It sounded interesting, but I couldn't find it in our library database with only that information.
Lady_Dulcinea
Patch the Pirate is a man who lost his eye to cancer (at 27yrs old) and kids at church started calling him Patch the Pirate. He and his family have put out many Adventure story/music CDs that are great. http://www.majestymusic.com/ and http://www.patchthepirate.org/ I grew upon on Patch the Pirate :-)
MyThreeSons
which some churches do rather than, say Awana, for a children's evening program. The Patch Clubs emphasize music over games, although there's fun, too. There's also Scripture memory and a daily devotions books. In our church, the kids would sing for the congregation about once a month, and our leadership stressed that this was a way for the kids to serve the body, as opposed to always being served. It was a good fit for our church. I'm sure you can find out more about the clubs via the Majesty Music website. HTH
