Jennifer in NH
I'm looking for a great atlas. Do any of you have an atlas that you love? or one you hate?

cmarango
I'm assuming that you are looking for a world atlas. I love my Nat Geo visual atlas of the world. Some of the other world atlases that I had looked at included a large amount of interstates/highways for each country which was something that I was not looking for. Lovedtodeath
The Kingfisher's Young People's Atlas of the World is excellent. The Usborne Atlas of World History is as well. Both have really great understandable maps plus additional information.
Zoo Keeper
We love our National Geographic World Atlas for Young Explorers and the Nat. Geo. United States Atlas for Young Explorers. The maps are large and clear and have enough information for an adult to still find them interesting and useful, but not so much info that a child is overwhelmed. The U.S. atlas also includes the territories, not just the fifty states. Kingfisher has very nice historical atlases.
