Michelle T
I'm looking for a book of biographies to use as a source for writing summaries. I'd like each bio to be very short, only a page or two. A fairly narrative, decent writing style is much preferred. Written on an upper elementary reading level. Is there any such book out there? I know IEW sells brief stories to be used for writing key word outlines, I'm looking for something very similar, but biographies of historical or other well-known people. angela in ohio
I don't know if they have this specific topic, but Remedia Press has books of one-page readings. They cater to the special education market, but their materials come in handy for other purposes. We have a book on countries, and it has simple one-page sheets per country that are perfect for IEW assignments.
