stripe
I am looking for suggestions for good recipes for Mexican baked goods, preferably in English. I prefer a cookbook, but a robust web collection of recipes is okay too. Muchas gracias! ETA: Apparently Diana Kennedy's Art of Mexican Cooking has some such recipes. Do you know of any others? Mabeline
I've seen Rick Bayless make some wonderful Mexican food on TV. I have not seen his cookbooks but I would think he has some nice books out there. He has been around for several years and I enjoy watching him whenever I happen to catch him. HTH I just found his website here is his desserts page. http://www.rickbayless.com/recipe/category?categoryID=
usetoschool
Allrecipes.com and other recipe sites with a search for mexican dessert. I also like a cookbook I have - The Border Cookbook which has recipes from southwest US and northern Mexico.
Letty's3Angels
I have 2 books from Rick Bayless and they are great, very authentic recipes. I have not tried the baked items but I'm sure that you will not be dissapointed.
Pongo
The Pioneer Woman makes some yummy stuff. She has a handful of Mexican recipes.
stripe
Thanks for all your suggestions! Just to clarify, I am looking for baked goods like breads and pastries (like bolillos, pan dulce, canasta de crema, etc), rather than main dishes or desserts (flan/tres leches cake), and not particularly for cookies.
