Mommy22alyns
I just thought I'd let you all know that the April issue of National Geographic has Hatshepsut on the cover and a very interesting article on her inside. I saw it on my way out of B&N and had to grab it. Becca didn't recognize the statue on the front, but was appropriately excited when I told her who it was. :D

My ds 10 actually remembered her name! Go SOTW!! Thank you SWB!

The kids love reading about stuff we are learning in magazines, makes it all more real for them I guess.

Sharon H in IL
Thank you for posting this! This article can be accessed online through the Nat'l Geographic website. Good to know; though I like to pull out interesting articles, pop them into a page protector, and file them with my books on that topic. For the next go-round, if it's too advanced for the current level. I got my brother's family a subscription to National Geographic for Christmas. He reports that it is a hit with the kiddoes.
