Sparrows-Song
We're doing Rod and Staff right now, and should complete R&S 7th before my son enters highschool. I'm wondering if any of you have used Easy Grammar for highschool and if so, if you would recommend it. Thanks!
Ellie
If you dc finishes R&S 7th grade, he should never have to do grammar again in this lifetime. I'd just focus on literature and composition.
Grace is Sufficient
We finished the Easy Grammar high school book in 8th grade, and then we moved into Rod & Staff because I felt they needed more grammar. We started with Rod & Staff book 7, so I think you would feel as if you were going backwards to go from R&S 7 to Easy Grammar.
Tenaj
I'm using the new high school books just as a way to keep grammar terms in my high schoolers heads. The daily sheet probably takes them a maximum of 10 minutes to complete so it's not a large time commitment. Both of my highschoolers have used Rod and Staff up through book 7 so they know their grammar well but I also didn't want them to lose those skills. After finishing R&S 7th, they really don't *need* any more grammar, but it is required in highschool for the umbrella school we'll be going through. Thanks for your thoughts!
