Have you ever done this?

I came on here to see if anyone had replied to my post. I couldn't find it. I went three pages back. I finally did the long user panel, statistics, all threads started by... Only to see that not only had no one replied, it wasn't there at all! Where was my post? It also never said "deleted", not that it would. There was nothing inflammatory - just a runner check in.

 

Then I figured it out. I "previewed" my post. Writing my post was the last thing I did before going somewhere else online. I rarely preview. I must have hit preview, checked the link and then left without ever hitting "submit new thread".

 

So has anyone else thought they posted and not? Or is it just me?

 

You'll have to wait for the real thread, I'm too tired to tpe all that now.

Never use preview. No time. :D

 

I check for replies to my posts or any others I'm interested in by going to "User Control Panel" and there is a list of any threads I've started, replied to or subscribed to.
