paulcindy
I hear so many good things about this book. Is it worth reading?
Denise in Florida
Yes, it is my top recommendation for both homeschoolers and parents who want to help their children learn. Ruth Beechick is practical and easy to follow. The books explains so much about when, why and how children learn. It covers all subjects from 4th to 8th grade. I still use it as a valuable reference even though my girls are in high school.
Liza Q
I will be reading it again this spring as I plan for my soon-to-be 4th and 6th graders. I sometimes forget how much they can/should be doing! It helps me with thinking about where my children are developmentally and setting appropriate goals for them. When I am not clear about those things, it is hard to choose curriculum/books.
