MKW
I am considering using Chalkdust Algebra 1 next year, but saw a reference to Math Relief on another thread. I had never heard of Math Relief, so I looked at their website. It seems similar to Chalkdust, but without the use of a textbook. I couldn't find any video samples. I would appreciate any opinions from those with experience with either of these curriculums. (My son doesn't really like math, and it doesn't come easily for him.) Thanks! Thorough -- and is aligned w/ advanced public school and elite private school math programs (a must for us). Prof. Mosely is wonderful. No one better. Ds will attend private high school and use Prentice Hall math from this point. I will still buy the dvds of Prof. Mosely as a supplement. He's that good. MKW
Beth, Thanks so much for your response. Sounds like I should stick with the original plan and go with Chalk Dust.
