Rosie_0801
Does anyone know whether "When We Were Very Young" is available for free somewhere? It'd be out of copyright by now, yes? Rosie
Pam "SFSOM" in TN
No, but does your library have an online feature that allows you to borrow audiobooks for a couple of weeks? Also, Audible.com will have specials running with a freebie.
Hathersage
It is not in the public domain. It was published in 1924. One year too late. And Milne died in 1956. One year too late to be in the public domain in Australia. (Anyone who died 1955 or before is in the public domain in Australia.) Some of Milne's work is in the public domain, but mostly plays. Anything published 1923 and before. In Australia, your looking at 2026, before Milne is in the public domain.
Rosie_0801
Bummer. Thanks for that Ladies. I don't think they'll be interested by 2026! Rosie
Renthead Mommy
We got the I think 6 or 7 CD set of all of his books. It was less than $30 and my son will listen to it nightly if I let him. (Usually I do unless I want him to listen to something else). He LOVES it! It was a great investment for all his stories. And really reasonable at only about $30!
