angela&4boys
Can you throw those who are stalking their postman a bone? :tongue_smilie: What are the major changes? Is there anything particular that jumps out at you? (I'm particularly interested in science.)

prairiegirl40
I would love to know what nine new books were added to Core 300 (and what was removed). Oh, What is the price now ofCore 300? Thanks, Jen
G5052
It was mailed from Ohio. I don't have full forum access any more, but I was chatting with a friend last night who does, and she said that it really hasn't hit very many places yet at all. Bulk mail is like Media Mail -- very uneven and unpredictable.

mommysweird
Thank you, thank you Michelle! I'm curious to know what the "new payment options" are, too. That was a teaser on the postcard I just received. I'm wondering if they're just talking about the payment options they already had in place or if there's a new system that perhaps doesn't charge interest. I just can't pay interest on curriculum, KWIM? But payments would really help!

Thanks, Jen Core 300: the catalog says they removed three longer titles (it actually says "only" three titles, which is hilarious if you've read the punctuation thread...) including For Whom the Bell Tolls and replaced them with nine shorter new titles. It is now $587.40 for the Core 300 Package. Edited March 24, 2009 by angela in ohio
angela in ohio
For Science K-6, the catalog states that it has been "thoroughly revamped." This includes: replacing out-of-date books, aligning and linking reading and experiments more, adding scientists' biographies to every grade, adding a bunch of notes on controversial issues (it states that the notes are now neutral toward the four major views of origins instead of taking a "good vs. evil" approach to evolution,) including new activity sheets, creating new design and printing on white paper, and adding optional activies at least once a week. at the beach
Will I automatically get a catalog if I am a customer who bought Cores this past year? I went and checked, and it appears that I do get one automatically. I am in Ohio, too, so I would think we'd get ours quickly but I guess that's not always the case!
