Luanne
Has anyone used this? What did you think of it? Did you learn a lot from it? Was it worth the money you spent on it?
nutmeg
Is this the Beautiful Feet study guide? If so, this is one of those things I keep meaning to check out. It looks interesting on their website.
mcconnellboys
I have it and have used it. I didn't use all the books they suggest, but did add in some other things. I like the study. I also like Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra, with CD, which is back in print now, I believe. Regena
Literary Mom
...because I'm wondering the same thing - trying to piece together a classical music history for my 3rd and 1st graders, and thinking this might be a good spine, even if I go with the Charlotte Mason method (one composer every month or 6 weeks). HollyDay
I used it and really like it! We took our time with it and it was a highlight of our year. We did not do the coloring book and I found Spiritual Lives of the Composers to be a bit......"much"......dry. Not sure what word I'm looking for here, but it was not a great addition. We loved Story of the Orchestra and the cds were well received. We listened to those when we were in the car mostly.
