MJN
taken this route for distance college for your high school graduate? Could you tell me what colleges he recommends? Thanks! Molly
laughing lioness
My oldest dd signed up and then dropped out. She felt it would be too isolated for her. They go through Thomas Edison, if I remember correctly.
Teresa in MO
I good book to read that breaks down Brad Voller's book is College without Compromise by Scott and Kris Wightman. Their children has done non-traditional college in a variety of ways. They are good friends of mine and my dd worked at their homeschool bookstore (they no longer have it) and went to nursing school with their dd. They used to make the conference tour and have spoken a quite a few conferences across the country, but they are no longer doing this. I know CBD sells their book. K-FL
If I remember correctly, they recommend CLEPs for as much as you can. Usually, that means Thomas Edison. There's also the Bear's Book that is similar. Check w/the CollegeBoard & see who your closest testing center is. Here it's the cc.
