ELaurie
it looks like a clear, comprehensive, and straightforward approach to supplement what we are already covering in mathematics. If you like it, how have you used this series? If you didn't like it, why not? What would you suggest instead? This would be for ds9, who will be in 4th grade next year. We use a rigorous math program that we love, but it doesn't cover geometry and measurement. Thanks!
Blue Hen
I picked up the entire series, except for geometry. We've used it as you suggested, as a supplement. It is very, very incremental in its approach. I usually suggest the Key To books, and particularly their KT Algebra series, whenever anyone is having trouble grasping a math topic. Loupelou
We have loved the Key to... books. I have used them for both children that need extra help, and for children that want more. Sometimes they will go to town and just breeze through entire workbooks in a day or two.
