jg_puppy
My kids have loved Rod and Staff Preschool Bible and coloring pages. I was mainly using it with my son (k'er), but my older dd wanted to listen and color the pages as well. I would love to find something similar. If you have used the Rod and Staff preschool Bible what did you use next. Jan
Guest
We love all the Kenneth Taylor Bibles & Devotionals. They are just stories, though - no coloring pages. Also, someone just gave us a bunch of workbooks (coloring, paint by number, etc.) that go with The Beginner's Bible. I didn't see these workbooks online, but I bet you could find them at a Christian Bookstore. (They say The Beginner's Bible across the top.) Hope that helps! AllSmiles
How about reading Egermeier's Bible and using the coloring/activity pages from Calvary Chapel. Or Mother Stories from the Old Testament & Mother Stories from the New Testament
jg_puppy
Thank you for the suggestions. I am considering using Hold That Thoughts kindergarten Bible Notebook. I am not sure which Bible story book would work best with it. My K'er is a very active boy and will not stay still for long. Jan
gracesteacher
We listen to stories (either me sitting and reading or via CD) while we are on the move. She is amazing at what she remembers. Some times we color or paint or play with playdough some time we are playing on an exercise ball or doing somersaults. I read the story and then I have her repeat it back to me to make sure that she is listening. Just a thought.
momofabcd
A good story Bible such as, A Child's Story Bible, Egermier's or The Golden Children's Bible with Big Picture Bible Timeline. The timeline is a bunch of coloring pages that you can put together to make a timeline of Bible events. You can buy it at the Veritas Press website under Kindergarten Bible or I think you can get it from CBD or Amazon, as well. I used it when my dd and ds were around K or 1st grade. They looked forward to coloring and listening to a new story every night. Deena
