Kathleen in VA Posted March 10, 2009 Share Posted March 10, 2009 I'm reading about wheat germ and my cookbook says to add a couple tablespoons to regular flour (I'm guessing it means whole wheat flour you buy at the grocery store) in order to add protein, vitamins and minerals. What I'm wondering is, can you restore store-bought whole wheat flour to its original nutritional value simply by adding a couple tablespoons of wheat germ to it?
