Faithseed
And not just because it is the one time of day when I get to be quiet  It is a very precious time to be gathered together listening to Daddy read!
Rosie_0801
I like it when my dh reads to me! He doesn't drive so feels kind of useless when we're on long trips, so he reads to me to keep me awake. It's one way to get him to read books I know he'd like, but won't usually read. We had to pull over for cuddles while reading the end of "Veronika decides to die" by Paulo Coehlo, the poor lad was crying and crying!! :001_wub: Rosie
5wolfcubs
Oh, me too! My dh started reading The Hobbit around Thanksgiving and is now just started The Return of the King. It has been years since he did this...in fact, the last books he read were The Chronicles of Narnia when ds6 was a newborn!
