1bassoon
DD16 is thinking about a semester or two of Koine Greek - just to get her feet wet. Anyone know of a good course/self-study? Or would she be better off taking the course in the local Bible college? What about Bluedorn's course? It looks meaty enough for a credit. I'm thinking Elementary Greek Level 1 wouldn't be enough, unless she did it in a semester? Karenciavo
Machen would be good. Bluedorn's course isn't finished yet, I bought the beta version at least 1.5 years ago and I still don't have all the chapters. I think Machen would be easier to complete in 2 semesters, Bluedorn no. The nice thing about the beta version of BG2 is that he also included his ebook: "A Review of English Grammar for Students of Biblical Greek and Other Ancient Languages: A Thorough Self-Study Program For Ages Twelve Through Adult" I don't think EG would be a credit even if she completed levels 1-3 in a year which is doable. Email Christine Gatchell or Abbey though, maybe I'm wrong about that.

forty-two
Concordia Seminary offers a complete set of videos of their intro Greek course on iTunes, for free. You can buy the text online. I have the text (my dh went there) and it is very comprehensive.
yslek
I think my Dad has used this one to teach beginning Koine Greek in the past: http://www.amazon.com/Primer-Biblical-Greek-Clayton-Croy/dp/0802846289/ref=ed_oe_p I'm not totally sure...just going off of what the cover looks like. Also don't have personal experience with it. (I took Attic Greek at a University...looking forward to tackling Koine with the kiddos in a couple of years, though, with Elementary Greek. :))
