PenKase
Does anyone out there feel the same way. I actually don't remember the series from years ago. I found out about it through these boards and DVR it for my dd's. They love it!! It is wicked awesome!!!! Check it out.
Sara R
That's funny; I just posted about this on the general board. Last night the "Punctuation" song popped into my head (in frustration as I was grading a college essay, whose author would have benefited from watching The Electric Company...). Lots of old great sketches on Youtube. Total blast from the past. The library has the DVDs and we are watching them. My youngest is at just the right age to benefit. Guest SouljaQT
A few weeks ago PBS had a modern version of the Electric Company on. My 8 year old loved it. It hasn't been on since. I have to see if the tapes are in the library.
littlebug42
My children are crazy about the old Electric Company series. We have watched and watched and watched. The punctuation song is a particular favorite and they sing it during school often.
dn42592
wow!! I went to youtube because after I watched an episode of the new EC, I still couldn't remember the old one even though I know I watched it. Unbelievably weird to see it again. Morgan Freeman was in it!

Now I understand why I have always loved that guy...I literally grew up with him! :001_smile:
mamagina7
This is great! I grew up watching the EC and had even told my kids about it...even sang a few of their songs...so when we looked it up on youtube my kids loved it! They want me to replay the Menu Song over and over...I don't know how much school we're actually getting accomplished, but it is funny.
