Guest kacifl
A friend of mine has a child who is learning disabled. She was going to use my SOTW books for her son, but decided A Child's History of the World (CHOW) would be easier and less reading for him. She ordered the Calvert workbook, but sent it back as it is too difficult for her son. I've looked online for simple lesson plans and activity ideas for Chow, but haven't found anything. Is there a CHOW yahoo group? Couldn't find that either. Thanks, in advance. K
JenniferB
Sonlight uses that book in Core 1/2. There is a reading schedule and teacher's notes, also timeline figures to go with it. I thought SOTW was easier to understand. CHOTW seemed to be older English/writing style - OK for a read aloud, not for a child's reader in my opinion. Guest kacifl
We like SOTW more, also. It may be CHOW one book vs: SOTW 4, that concerns her. K
