Kate in FL
I have two sons who likely can compete in college. Just looking for someone who has btdt and homeschooled. From their website, it looks daunting, but when I look at college athletes, I figure we should be able to do it!

Guest angis1991
Haven't gotten to the NCAA part yet, but will be doing so as well. We are in Florida, and have done some FLVS courses. I talked with a guidance counselor at FLVS and was told the main issue with the NCAA is using accredited books/courses. FLVS courses are easily accepted, and curriculumm from accredited book publishers (Abeka, Houghton Mifflin etc.). You need (I was told) to document very well because they can and will go through your books and work. Courses should be listed like those on their website (NCAA's)--the core curriculum ones. If your in Florida look up the course codes and names. We were going to use NARS until I found on the NCAA sight they are considered a diploma mill. You also need to register at their website by a certain time, can't remember how soon that is right now. Hope that kind of helps. Let me know how you make out, as we will be approaching the same obstacles/issues. Diane in Florida
