LizzyBee
I am writing a series of articles for our homeschool newsletter. This month's newsletter came out on Monday via email, and I opened it to see my article. I asked my dh if this means I am a published writer or not, since I am not getting paid. He kind of shrugged and said he didn't know whether that counts or not. I said that if it does, there are two published writers in the family now, because dd14 had a poem published in the newsletter a few months ago. So my 7 yo with dyslexia, adhd, and auditory processing disorder pipes up and says, "Me, too!! That makes three!" Dd14 tells her no. Dd7 retorts, "I have too been punished!" SkateLeft
Dd7 retorts, "I have too been punished!" That's adorable! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who occasionally finds humor in those types of things! My littlest guy's auditory processing mix-ups sometimes just crack me up... like the time he ran screaming from a kiwi because he thought I said it was "scary." (skiwi/kiwi) To this day, he's scared of kiwi fruit!
