dragons in the flower bed
why can't I quit eating them!:o Well, if you want a direct answer, people crave sugar when their bodies really need protein. Reese's Pieces, because they taste like protein-packed peanut butter, satisfy on a deeply physiological level.

Garga
Oh no! It's probably a 30 lb bag, too :). I once bought a box of Mounds candy bars from Sams. I ate one a day for 36 days. I gained 752 pounds from those stupid candy bars. Ugh.

dragons in the flower bed
I just want you to know, because it's all your fault. I'm on my way to a friend's house. I have to bring snacks or something for supper, and have to stop to pick something up because I thought I'd be there earlier and so we ate what I planned to bring for lunch. Suddenly I'm noticing these thoughts slipping into my consciousness from the side: "must grab bag of Reeses... a little bag and scarf it in the car on the way over... I wonder if I could bring a big bag to share... no, darn it, corn syrup... how much will that mercury affect a big fat lady? I could get a big bag to hide in my purse and eat all myself."
