Manipulatives for SIngapore Earlybird

Recommended Posts

I posted about this awhile back and got some good answers. I am planning to do EB, too, next year. In my first post, I also linked to the webpage where Singapore sells their manipulatives...not a lot of people know that you can buy from them. (But I won't be buying them there.)

Here's the link ....hth!

We've been through it twice, and no manipulatives are needed.

There are a couple of sections where you might need *things*, but you'd find them around the house: a pitcher and several sizes of glasses and bowls when you study volume, etc.

I agree. We used favorite objects for counting. A big bead abacus to introduce is not a bad idea. We also used the three sized counting bears, because I had them.
