runninmommy
Click on the pictures if they are too small. I found this small tree/shrub on my property. It has No leaves, was about 6 feet tall. Very wide and bushy on the top with lots of these flowered bright green branches. The flowers are tiny, bell shaped, maybe 1- 1 1/2 centimeters. Bright pink on the bottom and white toward the middle and top. There is no scent to the flowers or the branches. I live in Central Alabama if that helps. I'd like to relocate the trees if I can figure out what they are. Edited February 4, 2009 by runninmommy clarity
athena1277
I'm going to guess it's some type of jasmine. Just a guess, though. Can you wait til spring to move it? Maybe with leaves you can better tell what it is.
Happy
Print off your photos (even b&w) and take one of the blooms in a plastic baggie to a local nursery, preferably an independent one where a real gardener might be. They will be able to ID it more than likely. Most any shrub or tree will benefit from being moved when it is dormant...next November, December, January. If you move it now, prepare to water diligently all summer because the shrub will have lost roots in the transition.
