Shiller Math?

Recommended Posts

I have Shiller Math - the entire Kit I. I am part way through book 2 with my kindergartener.

I love the hands on approach and the lack of drill and practice constantly. I think that would drive her crazy, but she seems to pick up concepts easily.

As we move further along, I am afraid there are some large gaps. In the entire K-3 books I don't see any place value, rounding, etc. I am a bit concerned and might look at Horizons or Saxon for next year.

shame, cause I own all of this and free downloads for 3 more years.

what are others experiencing? Does someone further along in this curriculum have some thoughts?

I know this is a very old thread, but wanted to say that place value begins with Activity 21 in Book 1. It's called the Decimal System.
