HiddenJewel
I need some input from those of you who have used Classical Writing Homer or Older Beginner and Diogenes. I love the Analysis and Imitation portion of Homer (Days 2-4). My favorite part is the 6-sentence shuffle. Does the work with words, sentences and paragraphs continue into Diogenes? I looked at the online samples but it looks really different. Thanks.

Alana in Canada
I just went and read the sample pages and on page 12 it does say that the lesson format is different than the other books in the series. Further on, it mentions that one should be using either Harvey's or Rod and Staff 7 for grammar. (Whew). Thanks for that! As my son and I are in R&S 4 (Grade 5) and starting Homer--it's good to know the next level isn't until Grade 7! Nonetheless, we'll still have to step up our pace in R&S. I must have missed that part in the sample.
