Renthead Mommy
I can't find my book, I think I lent it to someone. Can someone refresh my memory. Was it a pound of raw and a pound of cooked veggies (total of 2 pounds) or total of 1 pound all day? And was the fruit amount? Also, we bought a juicer awhile ago. I know he says not to drink juices, does he mean like OJ and cranberry juice only? What about juicer type things? Spinach and carrots and celery type things? I've got it, I'd like to use it. Thanks. Off to look for my book. Actually I'm off to watch Battlestar Galactica and then go to bed!
Jumping In Puddles
The book doesn't elaborate much on juicers but I think they are ok if they still contain fiber. That is why you can eat an orange, but not drink a glass of OJ. The whole orange contains pulp, juice so it still has the fiber. It was a pound of raw vegetables every day and a pound of cooked vegetables every day for a total of 2 pounds. He says somewhere in the book, that you should eat an entire head of Romaine everyday!
Renthead Mommy
thanks! Do you remember what he said about how much fruit a day? Wasn't there some sort of fruit goal?
Jumping In Puddles
He said you can eat as much fruit as you want but it must be at least 4 fruits a day.
Renthead Mommy
That's it, I knew there was a number attached to the fruit! But I was thinking there was a maximum amount of fruit you could eat per day, not a minimum amount. Thank you so much! I'm trying hard to really drop a few more pound before we head to China. We went to Okinawa Cherry Blossom festival today. It involves climbing around 700 steps to the top of a mountain. I realized before I go hiking up and down the Great Wall in April, I really want to lose a few more pounds, and spend more time concentrating on the stair climber than just the treadmill! Thanks again!
Jumping In Puddles
This diet is AMAZING for losing weight quickly. For me, it is also really hard to stick with. I am so sick of salad! I had to add fish to the diet also (but not at first!)
