Novafan
I am very seriously considering attending this conference, but I will need to take my 2 homeschooled children with me. I read the information on the webpage and it mentions "older children" being okay. What does "older child" mean? What ages? My boys will be almost-7 and almost-9 at the time of the conference. Ria
If they can sit quietly, without any disruption, they are fine. Some kids can handle this just fine at the ages of your kids. For others of this age, it's impossible. You know your children. If they can sit with you without making a sound for an hour, you will be fine. Bring books, coloring stuff, and whatever it takes. Ria What if I brought their handheld game's (Nintendo DS's, with headsets) They are silent and motionless when they are playing those things. Can I admit to being even the tiniest bit embarrassed that my kids would be sitting there glued to a video game system during a homeschool conference? Would that be wrong?
