Favorite Science Encyclopedia?

What's you favorite? I am in the market and basically I am down to Usborne, Kingfisher and DK. Throw any other suggestions into the ring and help me spend my money wisely please!

Given the ages of your kids, I wouldn't buy one yet. I have the DK, but it's written for older kids to adults. I think I'd look at some of Usborne's books for younger kids. It's been a while since I looked at the books they have available, but I'm sure they have something that would suffice for now.

Thank Ria- DD is a skilled reader. We liked the Usborne History Encyclopedia and she reads that independently. We borrowed the Usborne IL Science one from the library and I liked it well enough but was wondering if there was something better out there...
