LadyAberlin
Someone has asked me to puppy sit for one day a week. I babysit her kids 2 days a week and charge $7/hr for 2 kids. So I'll have to charge less than that for the puppy. Tomorrow it would be from 8 am until 6pm. She will have her kennel so if I need to leave to go grocery shopping then I can put her in there. What do you think would be a reasonable amount? I don't know what people charge for this kind of things. Thanks in advance!
Twinmom
I pay $20 a day for my puppy to attend "doggy daycare" on occasion. She stays from approximately 8:30-5:00. For that, she receives two periods of supervised playtime with other dogs, outdoor time, rest time in a private hut. I bring the food. HTH. Starr
Puppies might be more work than kids. :)

LadyAberlin
I offered $3.50 an hr for the 10 hrs she wanted to leave her and she decided to try to find a friend to do it instead. The puppy wasn't house broken and chews up a lot of stuff, so I decided I wasn't willing to do any less than that. I looked up a doggy daycare by my house and they charged $29 for the day, but they are set up for dogs and don't really have to worry about damage to the house. Thanks for the help!
