dkt320
I am looking for some input on Living Math. We are currently doing a workbook type curriculum with my DS (9). He is not happy with it, so therefore I'm not either. Math is a struggle everyday. I don't want him to end up hating math. Anyway, he loves history, and I found the Living Math curriculum. It looks good, but would like to hear from some of you who have used it. Thanks!
Rosie_0801
Math on the Level was created out of the Living Math idea. I haven't actually used the Living Math stuff as yet, so I can't comment there. Though it appeals to this history loving Mamma! :) Rosie
Jen500
We use some of the books suggested from the Living Math website. I did buy one cycle's lesson plans, but I just don't have the time to make full use of them right now. It wouldn't replace a math curriculum for us--a great supplement though! It was a lot of effort for me to locate many of the suggested books and resources, although you don't need to have all of them. I do think the lesson plans would be helpful for coordinating different readings.
